Unframed Giclée Print by Fiona Florence Speed.
The Giclée reproduction is of my original artworks, resulting in the highest quality fine-art Giclée prints. Giclée, is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with the highest quality acid free papers to achieve prints of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability.
The origional oil painting ( Oil on Canvas. 12 x 16 inch) was inspired by a cat sat sunning himself in front of his outdoor cat flap in East molesey, Surrey, England. He had such a grumpy authoritative look. Many of my custumers say it looks like their cat ! I also thought calling it the Molesey cat was a pun on the Molehole cat! As I am in Cornwall. In my childrens books that I am writing about Dubby the Tortoise this cat is the inspiration for one of Dubby's friends and is called Restaurant Cat.
The print is 30 x 40cm and will be posted out flat.
